Youth Basketball. The YMCA offers basketball for ages 4 - 14. Teams play at YMCAs and area schools. YMCA youth sports provide opportunities for camaraderie, building skills and character development. We aim to keep kids moving and focus on their health and well-being.
It is an instructional and recreational 8-class youth basketball program designed for preschoolers or kindergarteners to have fun while learning rules and skills of the game. Kids practice the fundamentals of basketball like dribbling, shooting, passing and in most cases, going the right way down the court through fun drills and games.

YMCA Basketball program is an introduction to basketball. Children learn socialization with kids their own age, while gaining basic skills of the sport. There will be 45 minutes of instruction and a 15 minute scrimmage each class.

The YMCA offers basketball for kids in Kindergarten through 8th grade to help kids work on teamwork, basketball fundamentals and character development. The Lil’ Dribblers BOYS and GIRLS leagues are for boys and girls in kindergarten through 1st grade. Participants will play 3 v 3 half court and the coaches will help with officiating.
